I woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow covering everything outside! I had a doctor's appointment at 8:10 a.m. which I had to cancel and re-schedule since it didn't look like I could even get out of the driveway. My appointment has been re-scheduled for late April. Despite that though and the fact that all the schools were closed except for the U of MN, I was going to try and drive to work today until I got a call from my Uncle who already made the trek. It took him 1.5 hours to get to work o-O. It normally takes only 0.5 hours to get there. He suggested I not go because he nearly got into a car accident along the way, so I stayed home ^^;. The only people who did show up at work today was my Uncle and 2 others who live nearby. Everyone else stayed home too ;b.
According to last night's forecast, it was supposed to snow all day today, and it did indeed. Mom tried venturing out a little later after our driveway got plowed, but she said it was still slippery in many places. I think we got at least 8" or more in accumulation which supposedly will turn into slush later this week. I spent most of the day sleeping since I got up extra early for my appointment ;P. The unexpected day off allowed us to experiment with a savory oatmeal dish though =9!
Wow, what a surprise! Square Trade and the scammer BOTH replied to my last e-mail Sunday. The scammer is going back to arguing about how expensive it is to package via a free priority mail envelope and drive to the post office to lessen my refund amount which he acknowledged MIGHT be his wife's fault for sending me the wrong thing. Square Trade replied saying they are 'closely' monitoring our mediation to make sure said scammer participates. Blah blah blah 8P! I told both the mediator and Square Trade again that if the scammer does skip out on our mediation or stalls things for a month or more, I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges, so they're on notice from me!
