so alas i have arrrived again in bel air, md. my junior year has come to completion and another summer begins. it was very surreal leaving campus. my brain has yet to catch up with my body in realizing that the end of the semester has, indeed, already happened.
i had to say goodbye to ryan, scritch, and imani today. i didn't really enjoy that. (oh how i wish imani were returning next semester. she has done so much for me this semester. i love her so much and it makes me so sad that she won't be around...but i want the best for all the same...). and i can't believe that i'm now going to go an entire summer without seeing scritch and ryan everyday. i mean, this is the first night in almost two weeks that i have not hung out with those guys. (they are good people).
on the positive side though...i will be seeing scritch again very soon. i'll be going to my internship on may 21 which is only two and a half weeks away. (oh my goodness how am i going to prepare for this?! i'm incredibly excited!) and we have our summer book list so we can all keep connected over the summer.
and better yet...the return of our dearest friends phil and mandy inches ever nearer. even if i don't get to see them, knowing that they're in the states and somewhat accessible will make me so happy. oh how i miss them! come back!
well...bring on another summer already. :)
