Greetings from Christchurch, NZ
Hello my freaky darlings
Here is a brief rundown of what has happened so far on this journey. I am not in a place where I can upload pictures, but there are some nice ones of people messing with me while i slept through every single flight we went on.
Memphis Airport - nothing happened here except goodbyes and good food. The urinals here get an A, but that is because. . .you know they were okay.
Dallas/Fort Worth - First flight was a piece of cake. . .I slept through everything but take off to cruise and the landing. Arkansas looks beautiful from above. The urinals here get an A+. . .top notch - you get the important stuff from me. It will also interest some that the Popeyes here. . .gets an F for not having sweet tea and therefore not really being a Popeyes
LAX - Domestic port has C urinals. . .International gets a B because it smelled awful in there and someone kept laughing in one of the shitter stalls. Food here was excellent, Roast Beef sandwich and gravy at the Grill Express and a Sapporo from the Sushi Boy and I was set. Also ended up having a quite stout Crown and 7 at the bar nearest our terminal.
Qantas - if you have a chance to fly Qantas to go to Australia or New Zealand. . .take it. . .amazing food and service and easy ride. I slept for 8 out of the 12 hours we were in the air. Wonderful flight.
So that is it. . .New Zealand is beautiful and I want to stay. . but off we go in two days to the ice.
Roads are interesting things to see from the sky. . .some large byways melt into cracks in the dusty earth. . .but they all take people home. . .and in six weeks they will bring us all back together again. I'll drink to that. I love you all. . .be good to one another.
