and even if you ENJOY other bands more....the Beatles are more diverse musicians and universally beloved than most other bands...THAT is science....

now...that thats said and done.....let me mentiont that the beatles are in no way more diverse than van morrison ever was if that would be brought up as criteria for goodness....first off 2 of them are dead, which is so undiverse i dont even know how that could be considered good....second, van morrison has always written good songs......on the other hand, remember wings....remember the best of john lenon where he just bangs out 12 songs in quad chords on the piano......i wont mention ringo starr...and neither george harrison because he was awesome...more on this late when i have more time....

mentioning (and p.s. misspelling mentioning) the careers of post beatle beatles is obtuse, and in no way relevant to this discussion. the fact that maybe at some point you got to kiss a girl because "brown eyed girl" was on the stereo or in a pub, and you just happened to be with a brown eyed girl at the time in no way qualifies van morrison for this ridiculous comparison. certainly listening to "brown eyed girl" while being with a member of the opposite sex who incidentally has that very color to her eyes is a hell of a way to suck face, and i'm proud of you if it worked out that way, but in this case, i'll please refer you to the comment made by none other than hannah
