Holy crap, it's been over a decade!
So, it's 2021 and, a comment on my 2010 post prompted me to take a walk down memory lane.
Holy crap that was.... uh... wow.
I am so sorry to everyone I was shitty to on this thing, and holy crap did I toss around a bunch of really bad words... by all the gods I was a whiney person.
I don't really think anyone checks up on the ol' LJ anymore, but incase they do, again sorry, and thank you for putting up with my angsty ass.
On to the meat of the post,
Lets fill some of you (if there are even any) in on my life since 2010 and who aren't friends with me on the Facebook.
In 2010, on Boxing day my grandma passed away, it was a hard time for me, but my friends had my back. I moved into my own place (rental) in the Summer of 2011, went to Montreal in November 2011 to visit my dad, that was cool.
Moved in with my friend Bryan in March 2012, much good times were had.
In March 2013 Bryan, Rob, and I moved into a rental house, that was a great time, I miss living with those guys.
July 2013 I began dating the woman whom would become my wife (Spoiler alert!)
March 2014 I moved in with my future wife. We moved to a bigger place in October 2014, it was a very nice place but had two problems;
1) The rent was really high and we could barely afford anything after bills and,
2) The landlord was a giant asshole, like, daaaaamn.
So we moved out in October 2015 to the place we are still at.
In December 2015 I proposed to my now wife, she, obviously, said yes.
November 2016 we got Married at our place of work, the Manitoba Museum on the Nonsuch ship replica, a very cool ceremony.
In 2019, after 10 years of working for SRG security they decided they no longer wanted my employment, so they got rid of my position and laid me off with no notice. I had to fight them for 2 months to get 2 weeks pay in lieu of notice. 2 days after they laid me off, though, i was hired by another company; Paladin Security. I worked with them until October when I started working at the Concert Hall as security, a muuuuuuuch better paying job.
2020 was a shit show with the Pandemic, and 2021 has been pretty much the same, though things are slowly returning to normal.
September 2021 I, FINALLY, got my full driver's license despite having my beginners since... like 2002? I think thats when I got it, so almost 20 years. A couple weeks later, I bought a car.
I'm damn near 40 now and I'm finally starting to really feel like an adult.
