Alumni in Lafayette, LA
I'm looking for any alumni living in the Lafayette, LA area. My little brother and his girlfriend just moved out there last week and I want to try to hook them up with people to show them around. They are 19 years old, Frank (my brother) is going to UL for architecture and Kayla (girlfriend) is a dental assistant at some dentist's office across the street from Wal-Mart. They just moved into Bayou Shadow apartments or something to that effect. I know the first word is Bayou and it is located behind Fred's a few blocks from the stadium.
Anyway, I am hoping to find graduates that know the area and don't mind adopting the new kids on the block. They are really great kids, lots of fun to be around and very independent. My brother is very outgoing and will easily make friends at school but his girlfriend is nervous that she won't meet anyone out there so hopefully I can hook her up with someone to talk to and potentially hang out with while Frank is at work.
