Let me ask you this

(This was in response to an article in which some guy used his ignorance of science to "scientifically prove" god's existence. It's also why I use "you" so personally)

I contend that the universe began as very simple life forms of atoms, molecules, and what have you. You contend that it is too complex, as well as humans, and it had to be created by an omnipotent being. With the later statement in mind, wouldn't that "being" in turn have to more complex than us humans? I say yes. So you make the "leap of faith", not atheists, that a much more complex being created the universe and everything within it. So how did that being come into existence? Did it just exist? You undoubtedly say yes. Yet you will say that it was impossible that molecules were just there in the beginning. That makes you a hypocrite because (and here is the question) how logical, and I use the word with all its meaning, is it that your creator was "just there" and not my atoms and molecules?

Disclaimer: Do not go into the bible or any type of religious explanations for your answer because they in no way PROVE the existence of god.
