so today i missed a chance to practice workin on the new band, but since i had plenty of freetime i got to start workin on some solo stuff. Its gonna be just me, im gonna record it, just some acoustic/clean electric guitar, some piano, maybe some drums depending on the song. I got the first few rough tracks of the first song down, something i wrote way back in like march when i had my little headfuck. it honestly brought up some pretty painful memories, im glad that stuff really doesnt bother me too much anymore. anyway its called "bridges worth burning". i think i may call the project the name i didnt use on my last band, "Refraining From Embrace" and call the album "Dead Letters". i have like 7 songs pretty much ready to go for recording, and i have a couple that still need polishing, i want to do 9-11 songs.
i have a couple ideas as far as art to use and such, then i get it pressed and it will be the first fully produced album ive ever put together. i mean ive help in production on demos and eps, but never really put together all aspects of a record, much less writing all the material. im actually really excited. i think i may call in a favor or two for back up vocals but i want majority of the work to be me.
anyhow, just excited, sorry for rambling. what do you guys think of the names of the band/album?
