The boys are asleep in the bed, both lightly snoring, hehe. We had a nice weekend, nothing terribly exciting, just nice. Evan got some time in his swing that we put on the swingset last weekend. He really likes it, and it's so nice to be able to hang out outside with him. He just really takes everything in, hardly ever getting bored or fussy when we're out there. It'll be really fun when he can play on the plastic fort w/ slide that we were given by the neighbors a couple years ago. Of course by then we'll have to have the yard a little safer than the current setup which we like to jokingly refer to as the death trap. :P
Anyway, not a lot to update on, I guess... just felt like posting a bit. There is one cute thing that Evan's been doing the last week or so. When I pick him up, he'll put his arms around my neck and kind of grasp his hands open and closed. I like to think of it as a hug because it's cute, if a bit painful when he manages to catch skin and/or hair in there, hehe. But it's worth it because it's so cute and he of course has this huge smile on his face when he's doing it.
What else... Craig started his new job at Philips Medical Systems last Monday, so it's good to be all stable and back to routines again. It's up in Bothell, but the commute's actually not bad at all, I guess. And being north, we might even be able to arrange sharing the driving to and from daycare sometimes, which would be sweet. Of course, I'm a bit of a control freak and will probably hold onto picking him up in the afternoon just because the time to pick him up is so set in stone that I would give myself an ulcer worrying that Craig wasn't going to pick him up on time. But sharings the mornings would be ok! (After I set everything out for Craig that needs to be taken, hehe) Okay, I'm a freak.
I'll end with a picture that we took of Evan (I really should rename this journal to All About Evan... I do plan to actually talk about something else eventually!)... at Alessandra's band concert last week. We've been so lucky with stuff like that -- he was an angel the whole time we were there listening to the 5th/6th/7th grade bands. Everyone was like 'wow, what a good baby!' So that was nice. :)
