(no subject)
So I found a wedding dress... no I didn't have to travel all over creation... Thursday afternoon my mom got off work a little early and we went to a little town in the middle of nowhere called Bruce and found a little dress shop and lo and behold there it was... my future wedding dress... I have to alter it a little, like the sleeves are sheer and long, and I wanted short sleeves and of course sheer doesn't work, so we are just going to take them off all together and make short sleeves and sew them on... i'm way excited bc I really like the dress and it was within the budget... well almost,it was a little over, but mom liked it so we got it! Then she drug me all over creation to show everyone! First to my sisters, then to her boss's, then to my aunt's, then home to show dad... and between each stop she had me calling my sisters in law to tell them I got a dress and blah, blah, blah.... So then we realize well all that calling around and planning for fridays dress hunt was for not, so I had to call back and cancel all appointments all together.. it was grand...
My favorite cousin that is just 3 months older than me and we grew up doing everything together got married this weekend in the St. Louis temple so we traveled up for that... We got there Friday night and went out to eat with everyone... this was the first time any of the saw my ring and so they oooed and awwwed... it really is a pretty ring... if I do say so myself... then mom made me try on the dress for them.... blah! I've put that dress on more times than I ever imagined... I can't really get over the fact that I think I look funny in white.. like its a pretty dress don't get me wrong but that's when its on the hanger... when its on me, I just look funny.... I don't know how to explain it... I guess I'm just a girl who's not made for wedding dresses... My cousin however looked stunning in her wedding dress... she's so pretty! So she got married Saturday. She and her husband are sooo cute. I can't wait til its me.... 91 days.... It made me want to get married like.... yesterday!
I really don't know what to do about the guests in the temple either... we're only allowed 40 and my parents and I made a list as we traveled to St. Louis and it consisted of 50 something, then I asked Eric who he wanted to come and that added about 12 or so.... and there aren't many I can cut off without majorly hurting feelings.... BLAH! Plus I really just want the people on the list there bc they are all so special in my life... when they built the memphis temple they weren't anticipating me getting married in it.... silly them....
anyways off to bed for me!!
