FAQ regarding the shut-down:
1. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??!???
i decided to close slacken_ties.
2. WHY?!?!?
because i felt like it.
3. BUT REALLY! WHY!?!?!
neither i nor any of the current moderators wanted to run this community anymore.
4. SO WHY NOT FIND SOME NEW MODERATORS????
it's much harder than you think to locate people who will run the place like you would run it. the applicants for the job are few and they don't seem to have the same ideas for the direction of this community as i did when i started it. which is fine, it's their prerogative (in a bobby brown kind of way) so i figured that anybody who wants to can start their own communities and run them however they like.
5. WHERE WILL I PUT MY FICS AND GRAPHICS NOW!??!?!?!?
from what i hear, there are plenty of other franz communities that would love to read your fics and view your graphics. if not, you could always post them in your own lj or start a personal fic lj or even start your own franz-related fic community. the livejournal world is your oyster!

i'm not deleting the comm and i have no plans to do so. but there's no harm in backing things up.

first, harryheartsme is NOT ME. believe what you like, i can't stop you, but seriously. not me. and yes, i did approve her fic because i thought it was LOL. it's unfortunate if you do not find it LOL, but it's never been a requirement that you enjoy everything that is posted to s_t. the thing about her being the only user who could ever post again was a joke of the ironic sort. if you dislike her posts, skip past them. if you don't get them, i can't explain them to you, because there is nothing to get. it was simply a way for this community to go out with a bang.

actually, poorly-done, nonsensical, occasionally blasphemous tributes to our favorite musicians is what this community has always been about. this was the first thing ever posted, and it's pretty much the fic in mspaint-form. (well, it's not as awesome as the fic, but still.)

not a question! but if you want something to cheer you up, you can watch some of the youtube videos i (and a few others) posted in the previous post's comments. they started out being about ~the end~ but quickly devolved into random lolz, as things tend to do around here.

i'm screening comments because plenty of people are pissed off at me and want to get back at me, hurl insults at me, spread lies about me and this community, etc. i do want to make sure something isn't abusive before it shows up here.
