The United States of America was built on a foundation supported by chattel slavery. The American Civil War, supposedly to end slavery was simply to transform it into wage slavery. After all, if chattel perishes right after purchase, it's a loss.
I'm sort of intrigued by UBI, Universal Basic Income, but that's just a way for the Masters to say to the Slaves, "Take this, and forget all that ever happened."
I have always been a slave, despite a 1971 birth in San Diego. In 1986 I decided to end my own life because my "Dad" made it clear to me I had absolutely no personal liberty. In short, I simply refused to go to a school which I hated and where I was hated. His unrelenting message to me is that if you cannot get up to face a life you hate, to face people you hate and do shit you hate all day then you aren't worthy to live in America.
He took me to the hospital on this faulty reasoning: "If you aren't well enough to go to school you are sick enough to go to the hospital."
Seriously.
He took me to the emergency room. Saint Mary's in Rochester Fucking Minne Fucking Sota.
I cannot place in words how much I curse and hate the name of Rochester Minnesota, the hell I was deposited in when I was removed from California.
My parents were stupid dumbshit automatons who had children because "That's what they were supposed to do."
My Mom is dead and my Dad is a heartless fucker who started boning his new cunt before my Mom's memorial. After 40+ years of marriage. He couldn't wait for her to die. I am sure it broke is heart that took 5+ years after a 2- life expectancy was granted after the initial cancer diagnosis.
It's supposed to be me my fault that I have problems when I come from "An upper middle class background" and "your parents are still together."
I was born a slave to slaves.
Now, I am a refugee.
Live or die, I do not care from day to day.
My country has betrayed itself and I have no overwhelming live to live, nor to die.
I abide.
