What is there not to understand?
If you prolong something and then turn around, claim to want it to exceed but never allow it to out of fear, fear of lose or the alike, how can anyone expect anything to achieve reality?
If it's anything, it's fear that keeps people apart. Just have to learn how to deal with it. Close your eyes and trust in it and just do it. Just hope for the best.
Or let it die off and always wonder. Or in some peoples case, deny that they wonder and go on in life, dying inside, because their pride permitted otherwise.
