Okay guys, I'm low on fanfic to read on Strangely Literal.. so recc some of your own (or some cool fanfic you read recently) in the Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Runaways or Dr. Horrible comms.

I just read an amazing Jayne/River fic, "Thoughts" - http://litgal.brinkster.net/Thoughts/Thoughts1.htm

Now it deals with a bit of D/s, but it's not just about sex. It digs deep into who, and why, Jayne is. It does have a NC-17 rating, but I would say it more for dark/angst matter then sex, all though there is that (at one point Jayne ends up "breaking" his man bits trying to keep away from River).

:-> Yes, but ... it's going to be awhile yet before the book comes out, and there's only so much I can say about it to keep interest up, without risking a backlash. On the other hand, if I came out with some fanfics, that would keep interest up in my writing in general.

Yep. That's the excuse I'll use. But for right now I'm working on some short stories using "Storm Chaser" characters, set before the book ...

I wrote a fic "Shortcut". The events take place in Cordelia's alternate reality in "The Wish". Spike comes to Sunnydale and his arrival changes everything.
