When thinking about my dad's birthday this year, I was trying to figure out an awesome present. My parents are fairly pragmatic and dad's been scaling back his library. They really want a simple kind of lifestyle. Plus, being adults they can buy pretty much anything they want/need for themselves. So I remembered that Marian Call loved writing songs on commission, so I asked her to write a song about my dad. Happily she got to spend some time with my parents over Easter this year, and she wrote this awesome song - Truth Collector inspired by my dad.

I love it, the first time she sent me the lyrics I teared up. It so sums up my dad's life, his ministry (he's a pastor) and his attitude. I hope you enjoy.
