It does not suck to be me. Let me tell you.
So Friday night hypersensitive/Lisa T./Cordelia came over and we chatted the night away. Then we woke early (so early that I made coffee but forgot to put the coffee pods in.. yeah hot water with cream/sugar).
Then it was about a two hour drive down to San Diego (and more geek talk).
We got to the Omni, where Browncoat friends of Lisa were staying and we chatted with them and then it was off to pick up our badge. That process went very quickly due to the extreme efficiency and number of people working registration. I was very impressed.
Then it was off to Ballroom 20 which became our surrogant home for the day... of course that meant waiting in a really long line and sitting through Futurama AND the Simpson's panels, but meh.
I did learn that the guy who playes Bender (the robot) must be a gamer 'cuz he was wearing a black Tshirt that says I roll... something and had a picture of a gamer die.
I'll write more later when I'm awake... time to get some more sleep....
