How many times have you felt guilty asking an LJ friend a question that should be obvious? Well, here's your chance. I have. :) And I won't hit you for not remembering. Giant Dawn, and a Spike/Dru ficlet. There might have been more, but those are the two I'm remembering.

Are you trying to make writing into a career or just keeping it as a hobby? How does it fit into your current work status?

Technically my job has a lot of "writing", I am a social media publicist. So I write blog entries, pitches, articles, newsletters, etc.

I'm not actively pursuing getting published, but I am working on a novel that I wrote when I was in highschool - converting it to podcast form. Right now I enjoy writing for free!

Writing for free I have found to be the most exciting form of fiction these days. All though I must say I can't wait to hear that 7th son is coming out in print!

I am glad that you are writing as part of your job, I am always telling writers that making a career out of writing normally has nothing to do with being published in novels or even in the paper. The world is changing there are so many new ways to reach your audience and there are so many other areas that people never even think of. Writing for RPGs, technical writing, trade publications and so on... I am sure you would know more then me here.

What made you want to start podcasting originally?

I studied radio in college - even had my own show ("Tabz on Air"), did some audio dramas and loved it. I missed it, but knew it wasn't a full-time career for me.

Then my friend told me Firefly and Firefly Talk (my first podcast). I was sitting there going -ohhh fanfic... anyone podcasting fanfic? Since I can't read it all. At the time Tales from the Verse was just starting, and I was like. That's great... but what about Buffy & Angel...

And Strangely Literal was started!
