When they decide to call for an urgent briefing, you know that it won't be anything good.

It's quite shocking to know that in the 3 batches before us only 4 persons in total went to a tourism-related company. But I see the point about not having a market to job-hop to after a few years doing tourism in JP, even if (esp if?) you are planning to go back after that few years. And then it is quite duanting also the fact that I might be receiving less income when I start working compared to my current scholarship =.=

Somehow it's very lolx (to me) that they decided to threaten us talking about how JP govt can sue us. Lolx. Are you sure it's the correct time to show hand? Or a better idea would have been to throw your trump card 2 years ago and not now. Now, you can't be a bully when you don't know how to use hand to the fullest, no? And it is not very clever to use our home university as a threat too cos for one, we have graduated = has nothing to do with the school le, and two, please, like I would want my juniors to come here lor, stop 误人子弟-ing. And anyway there is no next year anyway who cares? Anyway the whole thing was quite *rolleye*.

And then I shall spare you from our 没前途 talk on JP companies. Both for us and the companies themselves.

It's amusing how our seniors described our batch as 软柿子. Lolx. I guess in some ways it's probably true, but the whole thing is even more amusing when the one trying to poke us isn't even pointy enough. 用豆腐撞柿子吗? Apparently there were 2 KR students in the programme in the first year = 用豆腐撞墙 = from the next year onwards they decided not to take in KR students. 真没骨气。 Lolx.

Rather than saying that we are wasting JP govt's money, you should say that JP govt is wasting money in the first place trying to get ppl to study here and work here. Spend it on getting your people outside (and trying to force them to come back to work). The main thing is you see, JP is just NOT attractive a working environment. It's not that I'm trying to be mean, but you tell us to think "logically", this is exactly what we are doing! I think it's quite sad when they don't notice what is the problem... with everything. It's even more *dots* when they say that if you want to pursue your interest which happens not to be working in tourism industry in JP, please withdraw from the programme. Please lor, are you sure you can take up the responsibility when every single person withdraws? (Which is why they need us to be 软柿子s right, yar.)

I still think it's strange, the whole concept of this programme. Apparently this person thinks the industry needs to change, which is why he proposed to 経産省 to get money and got Rikkyo to do the programme (he himself is a part timer lecturer who worked in JR East and is now in JTB) and let us to find jobs ourselves. "Bondless" is weird. Weird. Isn't the right way to go about this right from the beginning to be talking to the TOURISM INDUSTRY and get interested parties to pool in the money? Bonded, of course. Well it sounds rather impossible with the state most of the tourism-related companies are in (basically it's harder to find a company without 赤字).

Let me just say this. The whole thing is just freaking screwed right from the start. And you are pretty damn right about us really not giving JP govt a damn. Lolx.

That's all. Anyway it took me so much effort to not roll my eyes really obviously.

rant, school
