First time I found a JE fan on my own! (Everyone seems to have one or two in their classes, I was thinking that it's about time for one to appear in mine.) She's a KT Kame fan apparently. Lolx.
But then she said something very worrying. Cos she went to see our JS1 tutor about the reaction papers, and apparently she saw that she got a C. This is very worrying because from class I think she can write much better than me and you know. This is scary. Damn.

So I spent yesterday night/this morning watching the first eps of Mop Girl, Hataraki Man and Utahime.
I think I will like Mop Girl a lot.
Maybe it's because the main character is played by Kitagawa Keiko that when I heard the theme song I thought "I think this is sung by Sawajiri Erika" (because they are in the same agency, Stardust. Funny how I got to know this from konliza's fic), and true enough, IT WAS. Gosh, SHE CAN'T SING. Like, this is the first time I listened to her singing while paying attention but. Lolx. Now I wonder whether what yumegal told me about her being frozen cos of bad behaviour at the premiere of Closed Note true, because she is bound to have activities to promote her new single for this Mop Girl OP.
Ok, apart from Sawajiri Erika. Kitagawa Keiko... ok, I don't know how much she's acted in before, but she feels ok, albeit a little... newbie-ish. But I kinda like her voice, cos in a sense it's rare to have lower voices like hers in the industry. I welcome that, lolx! I am very amused by Tanihara Shousuke in this though, because honestly, the only impression I have of him is as Maity-sensei in the movie version of Love Com. Hahahahaha. Ok fine, I'm just amusing myself.
But then plot wise, I really don't see where this is going. Because from the next eps preview I think it's another someone-gets-killed-I-return-to-the-past-and-rectify-that thing. Hmm. And going by what happens in the first eps, no one is gonna notice it and what the heck? Frankly, I think the ending will suck no matter what. But atm, I still think it's interesting and watchable.

Hataraki Man. Hmm. Firstly, I really like the idea that everyone gets a bit of narration time. But. Oh well. I don't like the main character! She doesn't deserve her nice boyfriend, gosh. I imagine she would have problems and maybe love? with people like the newcomer and the camera person... whatever their names are but... I don't know, I don't think I like the plot so far. I kinda don't really like things dealing with news/gossip and stuff like that.
The UVERworld song is not bad, but SO UVERworld. Hmm.

Utahime! Ok now I know that it's not really about a songstress. It's the name of the very important movie in the show. Hahaha whatever. Generally, I think the Utahime dorama does give off this feel of a stage play still. Well, because Utahime was originally a stage play, duh. Maybe it's the exaggeratedness of the actions/speech/whatever. But I love the atmosphere of the show so far!
Tosa-ben is still really cute. Suzu's "iran chi ya!" keeps repeating itself in my brain. Lolx, but Tosa-ben is really hard to understand though. Well, I guess I can try to get used to it over the course of the dorama. At least it's kinda similar to kansai-ben in some ways so at least I can catch bits of it.
I think Aibu Saki (Suzu) is really cute in this show! Lolx. Ok no link. But yar, if worse come to worse, I think I can keep on watching this show just for her.
The other thing is! Satou Megumi appeared in this! Lolx. As the stupid Mikarin at the start of the eps. Why is she getting stupid roles like this and Sakurako in Hanadan? I think she rocked in Kemarishi, it feels so much more natural, her acting there. *currently on Satou Megumi high cos of konliza's Yoko/Megumi fic* (Hey, this is my second time pimping this fic in this entry. And there is a prequel! LOLX Ryo-chan is being so himself in this and that alone means you should read it. It's het and it's called "Ohkura Tadayoshi: Green Ranger of Love". Can you NOT read it now?)
Which brings me to my next point, OMG ASDFGHJKL:WERTY{}|CVBN< OHKURA TADAYOSHI, YOU PWN MY SOUL. In an "It's My Soul" way. Lolx. Tacchon's Jinguji-kun is SO SO SO cute and an endearing failure very much like himself. Hahahaha. Him being bullied by Sabako-san is SO ROFL FUNNY. Tacchon whining is somehow so him and un-him all at the same time. And because of this it will NEVER dwindle to the day that I would have to watch it complete just for Aibu Saki. Which I don't mind, but still. And oh, this reminds me so much of the Tokyo Friend Park they went on. Gosh, Tacchon is SO MUCH FAIL♥
Nagase Tomoya. Well, I've never been big on him (my TOKIO crush has always been Kokubun Taichi I dabbled on Mabo before but...), but I don't exactly MIND him either.I think he brings out the cheekiness in Tarou really well, haha, and can sense that he likes Suzu a lot! But somehow there is this Tarou=pedo thing there cos well, when Suzu saved him when she was like, 10? IDK.
I like the light and refreshed but retro feel of this dorama, yays.
