Okay. 4-lane highway, 2 lanes in each direction. Straight-away (no curves).
On one side, going in the same direction, Vehicle #1 in the right lane is doing 50 mph. Vehicle #2 in the left lane is doing 45 mph. Vehicle #2 is passing Vehicle #1 with a 15 mph speed difference between the vehicles. Speedometers are 100% accurate, and the wheels are all the appropriate sizes.
How is this feasible?
