For the Snark was a Boojum, you see

So, the Wabash National Study of Liberal Arts Education was today and let me tell you, it was interesting. At the end there was the prerequisite drugs/alcohol/self-esteem/diversity survey that everyone was expecting, but first we had to take a critical thinking test similar to the ACT. The punchline? The test was from 1989.

We were barely able to keep straight faces as we read such lines as those warning us of the danger that  "one day we may find ourselves unable to respond effectively to a communist invasion" in a completely unrelated discourse on nuclear power plants. Said discourse also stated the two percent increase in mental instability in America was due to constant worry about nuclear meltdowns. And then there was that debate on why intelligent life from other planets has not yet contacted us . . .

They gave us fifty dollars to take it. Had I known it was going to be that entertaining, I would have done it for free.
