Australia was a blast, as usual...
Peon class the entire trip, but I got where I wanted to go when I wanted to go so I have no real complaints.
Canberra:
Much nice help from Parliament House, the Australian National Library and the Australian Bureau of Statistics for my paper. The Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade were no help at all, unfortunately.
Sydney:
Enjoyed several days in one of the most desirable cities in the world... which included a trip to a foam party (at which I stayed at from 11pm until 530am), a trip to the Mardi Gras parade as well as catching up with friends I haven't seen in a year and finally meeting someone I've known for years. And writing my paper, naturally.
Today was busy, turned in my draft of my foreign policy proseminar paper, then went down to work for a meeting, then had lunch with
777echelon who had just arrived from Sydney. He was there as long as I was... but our paths never crossed. Then I zoomed up the freeway to San Rafael for a brain MRI appointment, then home for a quick bite and change before I sped off to the gym for a personal training appointment. Then finally I was able to come home...
I'm off to bed now. Heading to work tomorrow... and reading to do for both classes as well.
