So today in my "Modern Revolution" philosophy class, I finally had that "ah ha" moment strike me where what she was talking about went *click* and made sense. Some of the concepts we were discussing in class sounded familiar, and I extrapolated them back to my degree studies and they melded excellently. I wasn't falling asleep in class and became interested all of a sudden. Yay!

I've been working on my travel plans for the next few months. Next month I have training in Chicago, then in early April I have to go to Montreal for an exam. Double edged sword... it's during my Spring Break which makes it easy so I won't have to miss school. But, it's also during Spring Break, which therefore means any plans to go anywhere cool (ie transoceanic) have essentially been squashed with a size 13 foot (not my own, besides, i only wear size 11).

And then later on in April I'm attending a conference in Washington DC. It's two days, but I'm only going for one because I have to get back and go to school Monday morning (it's a Sunday/Monday event). I got a flyer for it in the mail today, started filling it out, but then stopped when i noted someone on the flyer. Went straight to my laptop, whipped out my SPG Amex card and registered online :)

Well - off to bed. Getting up early to hit the gym tomorrow. And I have to order a battery of diagnostic tests via my doctor... it's that time of year. Well, that bears explanation. But I'll address it later. I feel a bit depressed.
