Ignorance is an excuse

In certain contexts, it's unworthy of the person(s) making it.

And in other contexts? Emblematic of how little their best is worth.

Yes, I'm addressing an old meme.

Also: Diahann Carrol's JULIA. If you watched it, know it, please shed some light this way. THANKS!

And Jada Pinkett Smith's Hawthorne. OLD MEME. OLD OLD MEME. OLD MEME ( Read more... )

Yep. Over sixty episodes for a show that aired in '68 (and Nichelle says she was up for it, but declined to stay with Trek!) and what do we have now?

Hawthorne. I'm gonna give it a look, but I'm tired of mutton dressed as lamb.

Put him in Iraq or Afghanistan or New Orleans or on an oil rig. SOMETHING.

I'm so glad you're writing. I'm so glad Campbell's book dropped too.

Widowed, just like Julia. My friend said that as well; perhaps I'll check it out.

I watched it.

I thought it was okay. I'm very pleased that one of the characters is disabled and Aisha Hinds has what looks like might be a recurring role. DB Woodside is wonderful (and tragic) and I lub Michael Vartan's wrinkly face. Also, Hawthorne has a daughter! Grown! With a mass or curly hair. So, there's some of our diversity on screen right now.

I will give it a chance because it's got more'n three poc in it and while it looks cute and kinda hallmarky, it's from tnt which I like big time.

:D

But still, old meme. Single parent widowed nurse. :/

Better be love and friendship and love in it for her. And I'm hoping hoping hoping that people take care of her too. If she takes a licking and keeps on ticking regardless? I'll pout (at the least).
