Been playing some GuildWars, a new MMORPG designed to take out the tediousness of MMORPG's by basing individual quests (i believe) in your own personal randomly designed maps (diablo styles). Meaning, before embarking upon a quest, you go seek out some other gamers to come with you on a quest, then take the quest with them in your party and then you are alone with your friends (or complete strangers) to complete the quest without kill stealing, exp stealing, or fucking koreans saying "kekeke ^_^lah?".

The graphics are beautiful, and for the most part, the game is solid. Navigating is easy, the camera is fun, and attacking is pretty straightforward. This is the final day of the world wide preview (free play), but depending on how many of my friends continue to play, it could be worthwhile paying for a couple of months (or whatever payment scheme it has).

Ive seen NO lag whatsoever, and there are quite a number of people playing, so the netcode must be pretty well done, though in towns the actual kids that play this seem to easily get horny over some of the female charactors. I hope they include an ignore button, because NO i dont want to hear you asking to make out with someone in a game.

Ignoring the randoms that seem to find it amusing to say the game is crap when really they just havnt read the manual, screeming things about the "auto-camera" needing to go (when there is an option to turn it off) it becomes annoying to find people to join your quests.

Reasons for me playing this over conventional $100 games is playability. More often then not, after a month or two on a game ill easily get bored of it.. and when you think about that realistically, thats like paying $100 for a months entertainment. However if i pay for a mmorpg which i can play with a group of my friends, and its only say $15-$30 a month, if i get bored of it within the first three months, thats still a $10 saving (working off $30 a month).

Out of 10, ill give it a 7 and a half.
