Because everyone else in Florida is doing it:
OMG COLD.
In other news: do not like having to keep the car when in Tampa. Do however, now have greater appreciation for the extra time Mom spends dropping me off and picking me up because that is easily a half-hour addition both ways. Tampa traffic sucks - I can travel to usf and home in forty five minutes on 275, but the second one tries driving in the actual city, a distance not even a quarter that will take half an hour.
