It is really fun at the filming location of my drama “Uchi no otto wa shigoto ga dekinai”. I am able to engage in friendly conversation with my co-stars now. But speaking of acting, the other day, there was a scene where I had to grab Nishikido-kun by his collar and I was really nervous. In the end, I did it for about 5-6 times including the rehearsals. Everytime the director shouted cut, Nishikido-kun went “….tsk!” and clicked his tongue. I know it is a joke but I kept apologizing and said “I’m really sorry! But this is acting!!” (laugh) Of course, Nishikido-kun also said “I’m joking! You can use more strength” and smiled. My role is someone who speaks sarcastically to Nishikido-kun’s role, so everytime we rehearse for such a scene, he secretly speaks back to me “Har?! (angry)” But that is also a form of communication between us that has risen because of this (laugh)
OFF
I am often with Yuri. The other day we had individual work till evening, but after that we met up. I had just finished drama filming and was full of sweat, but I wanted to go to a public bath and though Yuri hates hot baths and saunas, he still came along. In the sauna, I said “At least try coming in for 5 minutes” and made him bear with the heat, and in the warm bath, he only put his legs in and we kept chatting. After that, we went to eat and coincidentally Kawai (Fumito)-chan came too. So we ate together, but soon we realized that 3 of us were in white T-shirts and a black cap! It was so amusing so we took a photo for memory and we all did the same pose (laugh)
SUN or MOON
Someone who is like the sun, is someone like Dai-chan? I am a night person…. so it is probably why I seem like a romantic person, and because I like mysterious stuff, and I also believe in “miracles” and “fate”, so I am probably the moon type. It would be great if I could be a moon which uses the reflections from sunlight to bring out gentle rays of light to everyone.

The rehearsals for the concert have started (Interview was in mid July). We had the first rehearsals for I/O yesterday and the dance choreography was thought of by Yamada and it is really quite cool. We have now found a new talent of Yamada after 10 years of debut. Personally, I have to do muscle training before rehearsals in order not to let my body wear out too much. I recall when we were in Johnnys World 5 years ago, before the show I would do 100 push ups quickly and 10 push ups slowly before going on stage. But when I thought of doing this again, I could only do it 50 times! Last year, in order to gain weight, I stopped muscle training, and compared to 5 years ago, I gained about 10 kg, so it probably can’t be helped. It is better to be able to do push ups so I started training again. Yesterday, I was finally able to manage what I could do normally during Johnnys World so I am happy (laugh)
OFF
I don’t really have a full off day. If rehearsals start from evenings, I go to the supermarket in the day, then cook my own dinner, then head to rehearsals. The menu depends on my mood that day. I recommend boiled flounder fish in soy sauce or fried mushrooms and others. I do want to eat something warm before I sleep when I go home. It is fun watching my favourite animes while eating, and recently I basically “eat at home!”
SUN or MOON
I think I am originally a moon type. My actions are slow and leisurely, and I am not someone who insists on my own way. But when I was a kid, with my youth and energy I was more of a sun type, and when I became an adult, I feel that there is more of a moon component in me. While it is also like “I like to watch the members enjoying and having fun”, this “watching over someone” part of me seems more like a moon type person right? But when I think “I do want my self-composed songs to be released one day” while doing my own demo songs, it also means I have some ambition in myself. I hope you can think of me as a moon, but one which gives out strong lights, like a “super moon”.
