Hey guess what....I'm still alive
Well it has been a long time since I've updated, but I was up and have internet again, so I figured I should.
Things have been crazy hectic, but for the most part that is in a MAJORLY GOOD way. Tommy's just over 2 years old now and boy oh boy am I finding out that they don't call them the "Terrible Twos" for nothing. He's a scary smart little parrot who says everything he hears and tries to do everything he sees. The funniest example of this is yesterday when my friend who had us over for dinner spilled something on a burner and the smoke alarm went off he took a towel from the kitchen and started waving it at the smoke detector....his efforts didn't help as he's still only 3 feet tall or so, but we were laughing so hard at it that we for a moment couldn't do it ourselves and he sassed us for not helping him shut it off. :) I love my son. Even though he's TWO and teething and generally a crabwart.
As far as everything else keeping me busy, I'm in the prcess of getting a business started. Pretty much just waiting to be able to get a business license. I make handmade crafts for the home as well as bath oils that are hand infused with rose or lavender. I also make Runestone sets and will be adding genuine dreamcatchers to my line of products...since everything is handmade though each item does take time to make and I want a ready stock for when I can start selling. This means I've been crafting my arse off...mostly making flowers for my wreaths and producing the booklets for the Runestone sets. As soon as I can make my online store public (nasty state line rules) I'll post it pretty much everywhere I can :) and generally make a nuisance out of myself with it.
For a long time I didn't think things would ever go this right for me and I had a lot of people telling me that I'd never succeed so it feels really great to see this all come to fruition. And on the upside of all this good stuff I'm finally back on track losing this fraggin baby weight that dear little Thomas helped me gain....I've lost 50 pounds of it so far. I still have a long way to go to be where I'll be happy with myself, but since I'm very happy with my life now, it won't be to hard to reach that goal as well and that only makes me happier. Now if I could only find a great guy who doesn't mind getting down on the floor to play with my son (((rather than treat him like a toy that can be put away when he wants "adult" time))), life would be beyond perfect :D.
Ok I'll stop being bubbly for now :D I don't want to make you all sick :D
Oh and btw I have internet at MY house again....just a perk from the business since my primary store will be online. :D got to love when THAT bill can come out of a pocket that isn't my own (well in a year or so) personal pocket.
