**i tried to make these pictures smaller. everytime i scaled them to about 640X500 and uploaded to photobucket, photobucket automatically scaled them to about 160x120. it also didn't matter if i cropped the image. it would take the cropped size and scale it down super small as well. i have no clue as to why these things happened...the files were under 1mb. it makes no sense and it just frustrated me. i tried to scale them down using photobucket, but it wouldn't show the scaled down version when i pulled them up on myspace. anyway, it just means that the pics are twice the size i wanted them to be. it's ok, though, you just get super larger blurry pics now. ok, on to the post!**
ok...so ivan and i went to sit on the porch and i noticed keats's brother sitting on this little pot. then ivan saw who we believe to be keats close to the roof. i went to put my hand on the arm rest of the chair outside and there was a tiny tiny baby keats. THEN i was going to lean back in the chair when i saw toddler keats. omg! these things are everywhere. now they're kinda creeping me out. i took some more pics, but they are very blurry. i don't care, though....i want everyone to see the size of the other keatses. also, here is a link about keats with way better pictures, but none the same colors as the ones here.
http://www.forestry.ubc.ca/fetch21/DFTM/dftmtot.html there's also a picture of the damage these things do here:
http://www.forestry.ubc.ca/fetch21/FRST308/lab5/orgyia_pseudotsugata/tussock.html to think that i've been killing keats's family for years. everytime i see webby things in our trees i cut off the branch and burn it. i feel i have betrayed keats and the friendship we had. anyway, here are some blurry pics:
here is baby keats. he's about 1/4 of an inch long.
and here is toddler keats. ivan knocked him on the ground for me so i could lean back in the chair. but then i felt like things were crawling on me and had to go inside. haha toddler is about a 1/2 inch long.
and for those of you who are too lazy to look at the links, a non-blurry picture of one of keats's relatives. his name is douglas.
