Here is Part 2 of NEWS Talk 2004 June issue of Wink Up Message Board!! I translated this a couple of years back for one forum, so decided to post it here to share with more people!! =D
Who is the King of Positive-ness and Negative-ness? Tegoshi is arrogant? Koyama is ill? And why is Yamapi in this talk too!! Read on to find out, haha!!

Talk Part 2: Uchi & Shige & Koyama & Tegoshi
Koyama: Yosh, let’s chat! Let’s start from Tegoshi (laughs)!
Uchi: Tegoshi is getting arrogant these days!
Tegoshi: W- Wait- Wait a minute!
Shige: He got into NEWS after just being in the company for one year. What are we like when we joined the company for one year?
Uchi: I think we were like this (shrinking his body tightly)! When meeting Tegoshi for the first time, I felt that he was cute and obedient, but now, he is speaking like “Oi, get lost!”
Koyama: Is it like “I’m Tegoshi, get lost!”?
Tegoshi: What are the two of you saying (laughs)? I never said these before right!
[The staff remained Tegoshi about criticising Kusano’s singing.]
Shige: Tegoshi is really indeed a good singer. But… … he is too arrogant (laughs).
Tegoshi: Ahh~~~, enough!
Koyama: You are thinking that you are the lead singer of NEWS right?
Tegoshi: No, I don’t.
Uchi: Not even a little?
Tegoshi: … … A little bit, yes (laughs).
Koyama: Demo, even though you are labelled as “arrogant”, you should be thankful to us for our love and attention (laughs).
Uchi: That right! We can accept this because it is you. If the “arrogant” image is portray by any of us, it will be too real, then it will not be funny (laughs). *In a serious expression, and talking in a fast speed* Therefore, we will continue to help you shape your arrogant image, you must also accept this image, and continue with this attitude.
Tegoshi: Ah, ah…, seems like I’m being forced to accept (laughs).
Shige: But Tegoshi is really a strong kid, he still looked so calmed and unaffected after being criticised so much.
Uchi: Who will be the most affected if he encountered this situation?
Koyama: It should be Massu?
[The staff told them that the other group think that it will be Koyama.]
Koyama: Eh? Me? Ah, it is indeed true that I will be depressed till my gastric hurts.
Shige: But Koyama will brush the matter off first. And when he reached home, then his gastric starts to hurt right (laughs)?
Koyama: That’s right, exactly like what Shige said. When I reached home, I will use one hand to inject a needle to my stomach… (laughs). I have the habit of reflecting myself before I sleep. That’s why my day always ends in a depressed mode~ (laughs).
Shige: Surprisingly, there are times when Uchi felt depressed.
Uchi: Yup! Although I’m really optimistic and cheerful, but when I go out for dinner with Koyama, I will become depressed (laughs).
Shige: We are chatting here, but Tegoshi is having an uninterested face, looking at other places (laughs).
Uchi: Look!! That’s the look now!!
Tegoshi: I’m listening! You will feel depressed right?! And Koyama will use a needle to poke himself before he sleeps right?
Koyama: You only heard bits and pieces (laughs)?
Tegoshi: Which means I’m listening! And I was thinking, Koyama have this side of him too na!
Shige: Koyama, about us treating your single eyelid as a special characteristic, (putting his hand on Koyama’s shoulder), you really felt hurt don’t you (laughs)?
Koyama: Thanks for understanding my feelings. I discovered that I’m feeling really negative these days (laughs).
Shige: Who is the most positive in NEWS?
Koyama: Kusano and … Yamapi?
Shige: Ah, that’s right, it’s Yamashita-kun! He will say to me, “It will be alright, the problem can be solved!” After hearing what he said, I will feel more at ease.
Uchi: Massu can be negative easily too. As for Shige…
Shige: Everyone knows that I’m a super negative person right (laughs)? NEWS doesn’t need me… that’s my pet phrase (laughs).
Koyama: The most negative person! Here he is!
Shige: *Gives a bright smile* That’s right, I’m the King of Negative-ness (laughs)!
Uchi: Shige is really funny. You must try your best to show this side of you.
[Yamashita passes by.]
Yamashita: Nani nani, what are you all talking about?
Koyama: Oh, here comes our King of Positive-ness!
Shige: We were just talking about Yamashita-kun being the most positive person in NEWS.
Yamashita: That’s because I’m a baka (laughs)!
Koyama: And Uchi, Shige and I are the Negative 3.
Shige: Also known as “THE Negative-ness” (laughs).
Koyama: Haiz, guess I have to poke my stomach with a needle again when I reached home today.
Shige: I will encourage you with “Daijyobu yo!” and stitch your wound together with thread (laughs).
Koyama: Uchi’s image in NEWS and Kanjani 8 is different.
Uchi: Yup, I’m serious when I’m in Kanjani 8, and a big baka when I’m in NEWS.
Shige: Then which one is the real Uchi?
Uchi: Erm…… The one in NEWS (laughs).
Koyama: So you are a baka na.
Yamashita: Me too, the one in NEWS is the real me.
Shige: Then where did the fake one appear (laughs)?
Koyama: Every time I watch Uchi appearing as Kanjani 8 in programmes, I will always feel that “Uchi, did anything happened, what happened to you?” (laughs).
Shige: Last time when Uchi went on the show “Ya-Ya-yah”, Yokoyama-kun asked him a question, he replied “I- I don’t know.” in a very serious tone. Upon seeing that scene, I felt like telling him “Oi, how do you expect the show to go on like this!” (laughs).
Yamashita: Isn’t that the same as Massu (laughs).
Uchi: From now on, please call me Massu from Kanjani 8 (laughs). I will try my best to learn Massu’s unique skill.
Koyama: From just now onwards, Tegoshi was just listening to our conversation. Do you have anything to say about Uchi?
Tegoshi: Uchi is very yasashii!
Yamashita: Tegoshi talk super fast sometimes, and when that happens, I can’t understand what he is saying.
Uchi: What, I didn’t know there is this side of Tegoshi in him!
Tegoshi: Sometimes I will be like that. But, in NEWS, I can only be considered as 2nd, because I can never win against Shige!
Shige: I can understand Tegoshi’s fast talk easily and clearly (laughs). When the two of us are chatting, we can speak a lot of words in a short span of time (laughs).
Yamashita: Shige is very interesting. Why don’t you show it?
Shige: It is because I’m a negative and dillydally person (laughs).
Yamashita: I’ve said this before; I would like you to act like [A beautiful journey, the feelings of dream] type of character.
Koyama: You want him to be a reporter for a travel programme right? There will be chaos in the programme (laughs).
Uchi: I really want to see Shige doing a programme segment by himself.
Koyama: Let’s put this straight first, we will not help you if something happens (laughs).
Shige: It okay, I didn’t ask for your help anyway.
Koyama: The bad habit of NEWS, when someone said something wrong, the others will just leave it there (laughs).
Uchi: The others will remain silent; no one will help the person continue the conversation (laughs).
Yamashita: Tegoshi, how do you feel about Shige?
Tegoshi: (Full of energy) Very interesting!
Koyama: Brushed it off with two words (laughs).
Shige: How about Koyama?
Tegoshi: Very trustworthy!
Uchi: How about Yamapi?
Tegoshi: Yamashita-kun…… is very meaningful just by existing in this world (laughs).
Yamashita: Tegoshi and Shige are born in the same year right?
Koyama: Eh, is that true?
Shige: Yup. According to birthday, the youngest in NEWS is me (laughs)!
Yamashita: But looks older than me. Shige, you looked too old (laughs)!
Shige: Am I? Anything is fine for a person like me.
Everyone: It appeared his negative speech!
Yamashita: NEWS can’t do without a baka like me (laughs).
Shige: I feel that there must be Yamashita-kun in NEWS, regardless of looks, popularity, or anything else…
Yamashita: (took out the alphabet “N” in his bracelet) Here, this is for you, N for Negative (laughs).
Shige: Should I feel happy (laughs)? Enough about me, lets talk about Koyama (laughs)!
Koyama: I don’t feel like poking myself with a needle tonight, so please talk about my good points (laughs).
Shige: Koyama is very fashionable!
Koyama: That got nothing to do with work right (laughs).
Tegoshi: If Koyama wasn’t here, there is no way the talk can go on right? Absolutely no way!
Uchi: That’s true. If Koyama wasn’t here, no one else will continue the conversation (laughs).
Koyama: Yup, I can still talk even if Shige is not here.
Shige: See, there won’t be any difference even if I’m not here.
Everyone: Stop it (laughs)!
Tegoshi: There won’t be any difference if I’m not here too right?
Shige: Then what will happen if we went on a singing show?
Tegoshi: There’s Massu, no problem.
Koyama: Tegoshi, give everyone some pointers on singing. This chance is hard to come by, here, criticise Yamashita’s singing.
Tegoshi: Eh, criticise Yamashita-kun?!
Yamashita: It’s alright, say as much as you want. I’m starting yo…… (As he speaks, he started to sing, furthermore, the ridiculous lyrics are made up by him.)
Everyone: HAHAHAHA!!
Yamashita: Oh god, I’m so comical!
Shige: He still compliments himself (laughs).
Yamashita: The talk today is really interesting!
Koyama: Speaking of which, this conversation is suppose to have only 4 people…
Uchi: Since don’t know when, Yamapi just joined into this talk naturally (laughs).
Yamashita: Daijyobu, daijyobu, absolutely no problem!
Shige: I’m really envious about this positive character of yours (laughs).
