you've got a diamond under your skin
I am in a really good mood right now, meaning: super-sappy post ahead, lol.
Because today was an excellent day. A while ago I was thinking of not going to the tea party because I most probably wouldn't be in a state fit for human company but it was actually good fun. Hamlet is the cutest dog on earth & there was cranium & piano & guitar & amazing singing (obviously not by me lol).
The other thing is kind of amazing & I'm really grateful & also scared to talk about it because now the stakes are so much higher & if I either fail my Ps or can't get my visa I really am going to cry. But when I read it I couldn't help thinking that it's true, God helps those who help themselves. Because earlier I had spent a lot of time unhappy but the minute I actually acted to change that, things got better. & normally I don't really expect short-term results but maybe this was my problem from the start.
Also. I. . . feel really blessed to have such good friends, even though I don't deserve them ♥
