Errrrrrr…why are in-laws so difficult to deal with!?

Honestly, I wish I knew how to turn people in for abusing the system for living off the government just because they know how to use it and never have to get off from it. It’s just so freaking frustrating. And when you try to explain to them that you can’t always depend on that money, they go out and buy more and more “things” and never pay them off - thus ruining what is left of their credit. Then they get frustrated because they were turned down for items that need to have a credit check run on them and can’t figure out why they’ve been denied - hmmm let me think!

Like I said in my earlier post, we had a family get together for Grandma Scott’s 75th b-day party. One family member kept complaining the WHOLE time the party was going on about “how they’re struggling to make it, they’re just squeaking by, they’re applying for SSI because they can’t pay their bills, they wish someone would just give them money to help them out, etc etc.” If you haven’t caught on yet, the above paragraph is completely about them. But, later on in the day, they were talking about how they’ve been going out to the bar every single weekend (Fri and Sat) and closing the bar down. Then they start talking about how they’ve gone out and practically bought the town out, but can’t figure out why they can’t pay their bills - so now they have bill collectors coming after them and they want handouts to help them.

I just wish someone else understood what we’re going through. It’s frustrating to me as a tax payer and a family member.
