This has been one interesting week....
Put in a tentative bid for a new house
Wrote up contract to sell current house
Made an appointment to sign the official "offer" paperwork with the agent
Caught Liam's cold and felt like crap at the beginning of the week
Had Ethan fall down our stairs at home (poor little kid looks awful--big cut/scrape on his face, little cuts and possibly carpet burns on his head. tho i think i finally got the blood all out of his hair during his bath tonite)
Realized Ethan now has FOUR teeth, not just the two I saw last week
Started slowly packing up the house (anyone who is interested in helping me is more than welcome... you get bonus points if you bring large amounts of packing tape!!)
Took Liam to his first two "Phasing-in" days at the Children's School at CMU (he did wonderful by the way. I'll probably do a full post on that at some point)
Successfuly went thru a week without scratching my new tattoo
Finished up a course in my on-line degree
Cut patterns for new things to sell
Watched almost all of Season 1 of Buffy (need to see if cathy can find last disc of season 1 for me)
Fell asleep two times this week while putting the kids to bed.
I'm sure there have been other things that have happened, but those are the highlights that come across my mind when I think of my week.
This weekend I'd like to:
Finish taking pictures of the materials I have
Put up additional items on my webpage to sell
Finish house sale transaction with Eric
Make our bank account un-negative (see above *grin*)
Work Pagan Library hours on Saturday for Cathy
Do some reading/writing
Finish reading book on Buddah
Find new book on Buddah to read next
SEW!
Pick up bits and pieces I need for pillow for Kelly
Go to LLL "Thank you" picnic on Sunday to thank those of us who helped with World Breastfeeding Week in August
Tomorrow do something fun with
simbelmynes and hopefully
deathofsadness and kids
Continue to think about the direction my life is going
Finish up paperwork
Figure out what we are paying off first, bill-wise, when we get the money for this house
PACK!
And possibly sleep a little while somewhere in there ;-)
Hrm.... so
simbelmynes and I were talking about not having enough hours in the day. I told her that it would be utterly heavenly if we could have a device to stop time after the kids go to bed. That way, we could have a nice 12-hour block of time, if desired, to get our stuff done... AND STILL BE ABLE TO GO TO BED BY 10 OR 11!!!
*sigh* the wishes of a mom *lol*
Ok, I must go back to sleep. Have two kids and a karl upstairs. Must go find at least one of them to cuddle with ;-)
