Doctor's appointments...

When we woke up this morning, liam's eye looked even worse than it did yesterday. (Yesterday it was just a light pink and slightly swollen.... this morning it was almost swollen shut) I decided to call the doctor when she opened... got in there at 11:30. Liam did SO good. They even got his blood pressure taken without him making one little peep! dr betty looked at his eye and said that she didn't feel it was pink eye, but she also didn't think it was totally because of him hitting himself with the antenna of the cordless phone on saturday. She said that it should have swelled saturday instead of sunday (which is when we first saw it). She gave us scripts for an antibiotic ointment and for an allergy medicine. She is wondering if it might be an infection or allergy that was brought on because of the hit... either way there is no point in messing with eye problems! Just got a call from the pharmacy, the ointment won't be in until tomorrow since they have to order it.

Also had my prenatal checkup. They're a bit concerned because baby's heartrate is REALLY high and in the time that liam let us listen to it (i couldn't get ahold of anyone to watch him, so he was with me at the appointment running around like crazy) we couldn't get it to go down to normal. He says i need to really watch my stress level. That might be causing the heart rate problem in the baby. He also said that i'm gaining more weight than i really should be. So i really need to watch what i eat and what i do over the next few weeks.
