super junior galaxy showcase (6th June, '10)

The day started out horrible. For some reason, my alarm did not ring at 3:45AM and I only jerked out of bed when j-lovedisease called me and my phone rang. So the cab which I booked at 4:45AM ~ran away since I woke up at exactly 4:45AM and I panicked. Seriously. And had this mental calculation thing going on in my head because we had to get to Marina Bay Sands before 7AM to not have our names striked out since scrapedheart helped us to 'book' seats. Forever grateful! We were sitting in the first portion of the queue (the first 120, I guess) \o/\o/
So my father had to bring us (j-lovedisease and itsbearcaves) to MBS and I spilled my tea as soon as I sat it down -__-
Generally, I had loads of fun while waiting because people around my area were friendly and also because they knew scrapedheart and so everyone pretty much clicked and our group was the most hysterical one. Thanks to thundersquall and Evie. I fucking swear. They were crazy and loud and... Crazy. I was going crazy because I was sleepy and the area was so cramped and I need to stretch my legs and my stomach keeps churning and blah blah blah. But I got through everything thanks to everyone's company!
It was around 2:45PM that Samantha, Yoojin itsbearcaves and I went outside to look for their vehicle. We sort of correctly predicted how their bus would come in at first, but they didn't do a U-turn like how we thought they did. But apparently there were a few Maxicabs infront of their bus, and like 98732894 of them that were behind their bus. Only 3 groups of us were at the corner where the bus would turn into the passageway thinger and when the bus came (together with the maxicabs) a whole fucking crowd of hysterical fans came running towards us like ... I don't even know. (hae_ultimate says that Donghae pulled back a curtain and waved to the fans) And guess what, the boys' bus had already turned into the passageway and the vehicle was gone, out of sight. And they were still screaming and being crazy. So the 3 groups of us were like "...Okay... Let's just go right now" and went to the main entrance where the VIP and Media were supposed to enter from. Where a whole other crowd of fans already were at. So everyone crowded at that place and I stayed there for a bit too although I sort of knew that they wouldn't be appearing there since they weren't made up and wouldn't walk through that like that. And then all of a sudden fans started screaming and I thought that something was happening but it was just the fans being stupid screaming at the video that was showing on the giant screen behind the glass doors. The doors were shaking, by the way, and I was so afraid that it would fall and break or something. I backed off ;A; Anyway, the video had been playing since the previous night -__- And so Sam and Yoojin and I went back to our queue. (Oh and while the fans were running from the passageway/carpark to the main entrance, there were fans in few maxicabs who waved at the fans outside and the fans outside went crazy and screamed and waved back and everything. They must have missed Suju's bus turning into the passageway.
Yadda yadda, I went to the toilet multiple times, drank lots of water, went to toilet again. Throat was already itchy and painful and my voice started to change and turn hoarse before I entered the convention hall. They let us into the queue which was more towards the front where the bag check would occur and all of us sat there for an unknown period of time. They were showing Neorago, Sorry Sorry and Bonamana MVs and all of us were sort of practising our fanchants together with the MVs and it was cute when all of us went "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA" together and started giggling and laughing. Even security found us cute funny XD
So the bag checks occured and we entered the the convention hall at around 6:10PM and it was air conditioned! Yoojin and Sam pulled me to the area that was infront of the stage but was a bit to the side, since the VIP area took up a chunk of space facing the entire fucking middle of the stage (where the boys mostly stayed at) And all was going well, we were screaming fanchants nicely and stuff for like 30 minutes and then we toned down. And then the MCs came onstage and everyone went cray cray. The people behind started pushing and stuff and people were whipping out cameras. The MCs did their thing, choosing 5 people to answer questions and get autographed albums and posters and so on and so forth. Oh before that, Pornsak was teaching us the Korean birthday song that was totally different from whatever that I've ever heard. oh well. We learnt it anyway.
So when the introduction for Bonamana started, fans from behind started squeezing and stuff and I was just tolerating it and not making any noise. This girl in front of me, though, kept turning behind to stare at me like .. I was the main reason why she kept being pushed ==+ Look to the front bitch, that's where Super Junior is. And when the boys came on, the screams were deafening and there were arms, cameras, an Elfish towel and a JSholic towel in front of my face. I had a great view of the stage before all these were in my face but.. And then.. I didn't see anyone but Heechul for the first 30 seconds or so. But still, he was smiling and being happy. It was like he was laughing and his smile reached his eyes and I could see a bit of his gums and everything and I was so happy seeing Heechul smile like that because I didn't expect him to. Up till this point of time, I have not seen Hyukjae properly. I caught glimpses of his arm and his hat and his jawline and it's there and prominent and his arms are like sex and muscular and I wanted to touch his arms and his jawline and oh my god seriously what the heck I want to pounce on him. It was like all that dorkiness and cuteness that I saw on Full House and EHB and a thousand other variety shows disappeared because he'e so charismatic and he just oozes sex onstage when he's performing. And then there's Sungmin smiling away and being happy and doing what he does best. For the entire night, I was just being blinded by Sungmin and Heechul's smiles. I've said this a million times but their smiles are amazing and they need to smile more and Heechul, never stop smiling oh dear god I love you ;~~; And so the song came and the fanchants were there but the fans were hysterical and mad and the screaming overpowers everything else. Halfway through I just sort f gave up and stood back on my heels instead of tip-toeing and just spoke the fanchant and looked at whoever who comes into my vision because really, it's traumatising. Getting pushed forwards, backwards (and was really scared that I would fall) and in all possible directions. There were fans who left halfway through Bonamana though, I don't know why. But we got closer and closer to the stage \O/\O/\O/!! And then the song ended and interviews started.
I didn't pay much attention to the interview. The boys introduced themselves. From my side, I could hear same leveled screams for all the members. And I was glad. Oh dear god you should see Sungmin's smile T____T Heechul did the beginning of the milky skin Kim Heechul chant and the fans chanted and screamed and he let us continue and his smile afterwards was just gorgeous. I was expecting Jungsoo to the the "Teukie Teukieee ~~" thingy but he didn't. I is not happy :( And I saw Siwon being touchy-feely with the translator noona, Siwon getting a drink, Sungmin smiling, Siwon drinking water, Sungmin smiling and looking over, Heechul sadfacing, Sungmin smiling some more, Heechul blackfacing, Heechul smiling and so on and so forth. As I mentioned, there were fans holding up towels and did so too during the interview. So us, who were behind, were seriously swearing-shouting at them and everything and went "OIIIIIIIIII~@!!!" And so Heechul sort of noticed the little commotion and looked over to our area and he was upset and stared at those infront with the towels. He rolled his eyes a little and turned to Sungmin and told him something and Sungmin peeped over, smiling, just in time for the fans with the towels to put them down. And he nudged Heechul and told him something and Heechul turned over to face us - smiling! His smile, their smiles are seriously too precious and gorgeous. I have no words. Everything I think "Heechul's smile" in my brain, the mental image of him smiling just appears and I go "lksdjfasf" mentally ;___; So all of a suddenly there were loud piercing screams and I realised that Donghae and Hyukjae were touching each other but I couldn't really see (They were stoning and staring into nothing before, but then my friends told me that after they shouted "EUNHAEEEE" the both of them started touching each other. Does not like this fanservice ;__;) I only caught the part when Donghae fell out of line after Hyukjae pulled his shirt open and Donghae was pulling his shirt back into place.
Basically, I couldn't see much, couldn't hear much. But when I do, I catch epic moments and I'm glad about that. Heechul and Shindong fell behind the line and were engaged in deep conversation. Haha. Naw. But they were talking to each and kept laughing. Really. Hyukjae was being cool and you know, I expected him to be like that. And then Yesung sang his solo. And I couldn't hear much. People were screaming and stuff and cameras were in the air and blah blah. So during Yesung's solo, I saw Jungsoo and Hyukjae by the side and I saw only the both of them. And I thought that they were gonna come on stage and MC the rest of the thing haha. But the music for Rokkugo started when Yesung's solo ended and I'm not even gonna lie I really didn't expect them to sing this song. But the fans, if not already hyped up, because "more high" and literally went nuts. Everyone was shouting along and stuff and fuck fuck I could hear Hyukjae and his fucking fast rap and I almost died. I kept muttering "so fast so fast whoaaa he raps so fast oh my god his mouth waaaaaaa" and they were all dancing and having fun and Sungmin came to our side and I screamed my fucking lungs out. And then afterwards, the rest of the members came on stage together and sang the Super Show version of Pajama Party, another unexpected song. Donghae went to hide between the giant SUPER JUNIOR letter blocks that were at the back of the stage and Heechul went to 'find' him. It was adorable. And Jungsoo attemted to sit on the letter "E" but epic failed. As per usual. Sungmin is great. And Siwon too. And Heechul. Because they kept coming over. Hehehehhehee. So this was great! Because the boys were all over the place and jumping and being cray cray. Siwon picked up a professional camera connected to the screens at the venue and started filming Donghae and Ryeowook and the fans went crazy. Sungmin came over and we went crazy. Siwon came over and he is a god and we went crazy. Jungsoo climbed down the stage like 10-20 metres infront of the first person behind the barricade at my side and he ran and swept hands with the fans infront. Meh~ I was 4-5 people away from him but oh well. Hyukjae came over for a bit and I went nuts. Although I didn't really show it. Really. Believe me. It was nearing the end of the song that some of the boys went to the back and stood in the Sorry Sorry Remix formation and Jungsoo motioned for the rest to come over too. He really is the leader, you must be blind to not have seen it. Oh and Sungmin prodded Donghae to come over. The crowd went wild when the music started and the fanchants began. I can't remember much, but you know, that handslide down their bodies that the boys do near the end of the song? Fuck yeah. I'm so fucking happy that Hyukjae's near my side because he was always at the other side during Bonamana. I caught that handslide thinger. Like. From the top of his chest down to his tummy and his crotch and hell I was screaming my fucking head off and I must have been the loudest because that wasn't really the part that the fans will normally scream at. It would be the you know the hold, move, hold, move "dance dance dance" part that they scream? Yeah. Okay I don't you anyone understands but. Hell I caught that handslide. I'm so fucking happy. Fuck. And because that shirt that he was wearing was clingy, I could see Hyukjae chest. And that was the second best part of the night. The song ended and the boys said goodbye. Hyukjae came over, waved, bowed, and did the thumbs-up thing, and for a second there I was overwhelmed and really felt like crying. And then Yesung came over and brought his arm over Hyukjae's shoulders and waved. And then... It was over.
I cabbed home with hae-ultimate, sherluvx and Evie but before that we went to get drinks at a drinkstall selling over expensive stuff. My throat was hoarse and it hurt and my voice had completely changed. But then, the 14 hours was worth it. At least, it was for me. I felt that those who saw Super Junior for the first time that night might have enjoyed themselves more (including myself). Then again it includes luck and the effort you put in for this. More towards the luck though. The entire showcase was short and it was traumatising, being at where I was at. It was like some giant rockpitt in a Super Show. Oh dear god. But still. Huuuuu T____T I want this to happen again. It was like they were 2D on my laptop screen and then when they're there it's like POP they're real!!!!!!11 THEY'RE REALLY REAL ;__________;♥♥♥
......... And Sungmin and Heechul were really smiley and I love them more than ever. I really wish that Kyuhyun was there though.. Oh well ^____________^
..... oh hyukjae was great. Did I mention that already? He really isn't the type to give too much fanservice to fans (you know, like he's not like Donghae or Siwon) but I can feel that he was really appreciative. And the boys enjoyed themselves. It's evident. ♥
EDIT:
There was a part during the interview, Belinda (the host mentioned that her favourite member based on first impression and everything was Jungsoo (well she said Leeteuk). And then I don't know what happened but Siwon hugged her and the fans were screaming like crazy. I'm not too sure what or who said what next. But Donghae stepped out of the line and his arms were outstretched like he was going to hug Belinda but Heechul stepped out too and stopped him and they hugged instead. Yes this. (Just thought that I needed to edit the entry and put this in incase I forget, again.)
