fwd: twelve kingdoms vol. 1
Mostly for pengiesama: operation acquire translated first volume of The Twelve Kingdoms successful! Found the second volume as well, but it was hardback for $18.99 and I'll just as sooner wait for the paperback for $8.99, thank you.
Have read the first chapter so far, and I like Yoko much more already. Maybe it was her seiyuu that irritated me the most about her when I initially watched the anime, honestly.
One thing I always did appreciate when I watched Juuni Kokki was that I felt Yoko and her reactions to her situation were completely real, versus reactions like Miaka with, "Wow! What a hot guy!" and Hitomi with her, "Well, this is odd, but I'll go along with it!" that are more or less completely unrealistic.
I even already like Keiki more, which probably mostly has to do with the same reasoning for Yoko. Koyasu Takehito playing his typical roles always makes me want to ga~g on something.
Anywho! Is good so far!
