My friend's mom died this morning, of cancer, at the age of 49. I hate that there is nothing I can do, but it reminds me why I'm here. No one should die of cancer... no one should die of cancer at such a young age. I know that there are far to many things that cause cancer - I also know that things can be done to prevent cancer, but it's not, in the name.... economics?
It's horrible to live in a world where affluence kills people.

I want to make things better.
