I haven’t had such a hard time making a decision since Dawson’s creek and WWF were on at the same time. So after applying to four schools I narrowed down my choices to two…Fordham and Pace University. Although Fordham’s reputation makes it an all time favorite, Pace’s location and considerably lower tuition really stand out. Fordam has pretty much been my dream school for as long as I can remember, it has a beautiful campus, graduates are guaranteed a successful beginning and.. I don’t know, people there just look better lol (trust me..it matters). On the other hand, Pace is located in Manhattan, it has a great accounting program, and is a few thousands cheaper. I visited their campus this weekend and although the dorms were freaking small, the location is great and I think it’d be great to live in the city during my last two yrs of college and then go to Fordham for grad school. They also gave me 27,000 worth of loan, aid small scholarships..and a 9,000 dean scholarship. So that had made my decision pretty easy..I went in, gave the down payment on housing…blah blah. I was really excited until today when my advisor pulled me aside to congratulate me on a 10,000 scholarship I have been awarded from Fordham. Fordham is in the bronx..that is the only reason why it doesn’t appeal to me. So I am pretty much torn…I don’t want to regret my decision because quite frankly, I can’t afford to. Any insights will help….
