So turns out this is genuine.
I could go on a rant about inherent feminism in our society and how one of the most promising animation studio is a total Boy's Club and how obviously problematic that is, but there are other people out there who can do so more eloquently and more intelligently than I can.
So I guess I'm just making this post to express my general disappointment.
ETA: Turns out Chapman is not working on the movie, but is still at Pixar. So this is somewhat of a relief for a lot of people.
