Weird Fiction II

Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Well, I hate to burst the bubble, but that sound like insufficiently advanced bullcrap.

Magic is by definition, thinking where you cannot see the maths. The lines of cause and effect aren't just blurred, the lines never exist, never have, never will. No matter how advanced any technology is, for it too be used, it has to subscribe to the most mundane principles. No matter what very useful and complicated process the technology does, it still has to show the maths. If you are incapable of deconstructing the process, well that's just too darn bad.

More later.
