Since I foresee that I will not be posting many photos in the near future (I have no time to photograph/edit nowadays, my life has been consumed by school!) I'm posting what I can now...
Today I visited Spice Route on King & Spadina w/ two of my classmates to conduct research on our restaurant project--we are designing an Indian restaurant this semester--and while we were at it, we decided to have lunch as well. It was delicious, the interior was beautiful, and the server didn't glare at us for blatantly snapping photos and sketching the space. Actually he was quite friendly, even gave us a dish on the house, though I'm not sure if that's customary for all patrons. Anyway, I would definitely go back there some day.
The three of us ended up sharing a naan & spice dip appetizer (not pictured), and we each ordered a seared ahi tuna salad w/ baby greens, edamame, mini new potatoes, spiced dressing and wasabi cream. Delicious and massive. I was the only one who finished their portion.
I wish all research projects required us to visit fancy restaurants and consume good food...
