Hello You Great Big Beautiful Savings & Loan
I've intended to post for a few weeks, but something always comes up. There's nothing particularly exciting to report, but I thought maybe I'd say hello to those of you I don't talk to often.
I'm still gainfully employed, even as some drop around me. I'm not saying that I've been particularly bitter this week about leaving teaching, but that grinding sound you hear is me grinding the remaining enamel from my molars. I still have a job, so that's the extent of my annoyance.
We went to Sharon Woods last night, which is a state park that has winding, hilly roads. At Christmas, they decorate and charge the the carload to drive through with headlights off, the better to view Santa waving from the Eiffel Tower, or the Blue Whale expelling through his blowhole to toss his Santa cap in the air. The less said about our experience, the better, but our intentions were good! Kids like Christmas lights, right? Right? Hee!
