(no subject)
Another gorgeous day, and me, chris, and the kids all remembered what our backyard looks like. This morning we all sat outside for a while, just sitting, soaking up the sun. Sadly, it will rain tommorrow, and probably for the next couple of days.
We went to the zoo on Sunday, in Madison. It's a nice little zoo and it's free so that's a plus. Finnegan was far more interested in the puddles and just walking than in the animals. He did look at a few of them though, and was a bit scared of the seal. Skylin looked at some of the animals, but her face wasn't really full of expression, mostly I think she was zoning, and just staring. After the zoo it was on to State Street for a bit of shopping. First I put two dollars in the meter, than realized meters weren't enforced on Sundays, oh well. Anyway I bought a hip scarf for to wear while I "bellydance my way to fitness," I thought the jingle sound would encourage me to think I was doing the moves right. Saw a nice eyeglass store unfortunately unopen on Sundays. I do plan on perhaps going back however, because I need some perscription sunglasses, mostly for driving.
The children are getting over their sicknesses, just runny noses now. We took a few pictures today but will take some more tommorrow and then hopefully, post them on the zoo. I have been getting some cleaning done, in fact our room is starting to look alright, I spent over 3 hours cleaning it for crying out loud; can you believe I still have yet to finish?
In other news, Skylin absolutely hates sleeping and does whatever she possibly can just to stay awake, sometimes she even starts crying in her sleep and I swear to god, I think it's because she's dreaming that she is asleep and she wants to wake up (hope that makes sense to you, it does to me).
