Ugg!
No, the title of this post pronouncing my latest footwear obsession isn't meant to evoke frustration along the lines of other exclamations like "Ugh!", or "Argh!". For the uninitiated, Ugg boots are a style of sheepskin boot, with wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface (THANK YOU, Wikipedia, I wouldn't know how to survive without you!). I've been hunting for suitable boots for my winter Korean escapade this December, and found that these boots would likely keep my feet warm and toasty under sub-zero temperatures. Also, having celebrities sport these seemingly nondescript boots is enough to propel them to cult footwear status. (But no, I still think Crocs are the ugliest imaginable things even though Brad Pitt trods ground in them. Ugh.)
Now, if only I'm able to find these wool-lined cuties locally...
