Good work as usual. I feel like this arc of your trilogy/series thing is starting slowly to come to a close. Everyone knows about Ino's training now, including Chouji (his reactions totally show he's so much more reasonable than either of his teammates. "You deserve each other" oh, Chouji.) The Sakura/Mui/Sakura's mom things seems to be...reaching a turning point, and even Shikamaru showed some growth; he is starting to admit there are other reasons behind his reactions. I loved the line He could tell, now that he was watching, that from the set of her jaw and the fire in her eyes that, if he said anything along those lines, he’d be instigating a major fight. Because he's watching her and really seeing Ino as Ino, which was one of her goals, though not with the romantic implications Shikamaru isn't ready to admit!
I am anxious to see all these many threads continue to tie up for this arc, and to see how the Chuunin exam goes, especially since team ten will have to deal with, essentially, not being a team, or rather having Sakura instead of Shikamaru.... Good work!
