Point-Form Updates: The Fic Edition
- signed up for femgenficathon! Was probs an idiot for it, but I signed up for two stories. One was the prompt I got last year, which is kinda funny and kinda sighy at the same time, but oh well. It is an awesome prompt even if I've done it before. The other is new and I want to draw hearts around it. Have ideas for both of them but haven't started them yet.
- I'm nearly 3,000 words through a KakaSaku one-shot that snuck up and ambushed me.
- Working on an InoShika one-shot too but it's like, 200 words along right now, so I obviously haven't gotten very far. (To be fair, I started it yesterday afternoon.)
- Am 7,000 words into a new InoShika multi-chapter fic. Emotionally it's almost the polar opposite of Slow Burn to write, which never stops making me laugh.
- Have been working on Slow Burn and have hit the block of '…crap, I hit the end of the chapter 3,000 words before I was supposed to get there'. So I'm poking at that, with a stick, to see what I can do. People probs won't like a super short chapter right after the super long chapter (though given some of the reviews on FF.net, I am tempted, it would serve them right, hmph).
- Slooooowly editing Walk Through Shadow's last chapter. But editing is boring, so my headway is glacial. Ha. It desperately needs it though. It's not something that just needs a bit of polish, I'm actually having to rewrite whole passages, sigh. Sigh.
