Somewhere in Shenzhen
More than 10 months since my last entry here in LJ. Interesting. Twitter & Facebook put together killed my LJ. Oh and Plurk as well. I wasn't really planning on reviving my LJ account anymore, as maintaining Twitter, Facebook, Plurk, are taking up all of my online time. My Multiply & Friendster accounts are also neglected, except for the occasional confirmation of a friend request. So why a post all of a sudden? The Chinese Government apparently limits the use of online services that allow for freedom of expression. I can't access my Facebook, Twitter and Plurk accounts here. Friendster is ok, Multiply is not. Can't open YouTube either.
Makes you wonder why is it that the Chinese Government restricts information access so much. What is it that they really fear? An enlightened citizenry? I should stop my speculation here, as Big Brother is watching. If you guys don't hear from me soon in the next few days, that probably means they detained me at Immigration. :P
