Tina's movie review!
I watched the movies you all recommended, here's what I think of them.
Apocalypse Now: An incredible movie, if a little long. Still, it had my attention from beginning to end, and showed the good and bad thing about life as a soldier.
Platoon: Another good movie. It appears to take place in the same setting that 'Apocalypse Now' did, and it had great plot, as well as a main character I could sympathise with.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: It was okay, the family of villians was interesting. But there was too much mindless killing, and most of the 'heroes' seemed incredibly stupid, even if they did go in unprepared.
Highschool Musical: This was obviously a movie meant for children and incredibly sheltered adults, I found it boring and sickeningly sweet myself.
In general, these movies proved to be quite interesting, they're like books come to life, or having a play that you can watch whenever you wish.
Does anyone have any adventure, mystery, or comedy movies they would recommend? (with the exception of Cadence)
