The other day (last Thursday), I was flying from Chicago to Detroit, and I had an aisle seat pretty close to the cockpit. I was looking through the open door at all of the dials and switches and buttons and screens and lights (it was just like in Airplane!, except without the laundry machine), and I thought to myself, why don't they hire Mac to redesign the airplane controls? Can you imagine what Steve Jobs would do to that stuff? It would be pretty, sleek and simple, yet it would work well and probably do even more than it does already. I think this is a great idea. Feel free to tell me that you agree.
I just watched most of Riding in Cars with Boys with Sarah and Mark. It's good but sayd. =( We ate tons of food in my last international social work class tonight, including homemade guacamole and the cheese log (I brought the cheese log). I'm stuffed but...I kind of want to eat more cheese log.
Last night I slept over at Laurel's. She left for work around 7:30, but I have no recollection of her even getting up. Usually when I spend the night there, I don't sleep very well, but last night I passed out. I woke up, hung out with Liam, showered, then left to meet with Zully and my teacher. I was so close that I stopped for a latte to waste some time. After our meeting, I shopped on Belmont (almost completely falling down on slippery asphalt while crossing Clark-I stopped myself with my finger), then went to Trader Joe's for some groodies. I want groodies! Ok, peace outside, good night.
