I need to go buy a lottery ticket!
Too funny; I went to Walmart today to look at their Wonderbra Sports Bras...so I grabbed 5 different ones in my size and tried them on. In box #3, tucked into the strap was a $20 bill...which essentially paid for my bra :P Thank you random person that tips nice fitting bras!
So at lunch, I had a wicked craving for Twizzlers, so I went over to the vending machine. Put in my $1.25, and out pops out THREE packages of Twizzlers.
I tell you, I need to find a lotto ticket dealer!
Nothing much happening in my life. I'm a state of limbo right now about my practicum. I'm not sure what's really happening...everyone but me has heard from their firms if they are to be hired or not. I think my firm is assuming that i'll continue to work with them (they put me on the Birthday List, for Christs sake!) but until I get a formal offer which discusses salary...well...I don't quite know what to do!
Riding has been going ok. I'm getting a little paranoid that I have to show First Level again in less than a month. Yes, I accomplished it before, and yes I got a quasi-decent score, but I REALLY wasn't happy with the rides. And now it a National level show. With some tough competition :\ Our walk is getting a bit better...he seems not to go lateral if I keep him in a shoulder in, so that's positive. Our canter work...is...mediocre. I've gotten the tempo slower, but he is still on the forehand and really doesn't lift up...and I know its me somehow, not asking him something properly. So that's frustrating, because he has a lovely canter, when I don't screw it up! I'm also frustrated because I leave to Mexico (ok, not THAT upset :P) but it takes away 10 much needed days of riding. But I suppose I'll have to suck it up, yes?
